PRIVATE VILLA, ABU DHABI, UAE.

This was a very special project for us, this villa was inspired by Santorini architecture. To recreate the principals as close as possible, we visited old Santorini archives and looked into authentic drawings made by Greek architects of the past.

From the planning perspective, this villa had a few interesting features. It looks like a small village and has few changes in leveling, that follow original small hills within the plot. We also carefully treated the clients need for privacy: as the owner enjoys having many gatherings, we located the most common areas at the beginning, which also happen to be the closest to the sea level. The deeper and higher you move within the villa, the more private it gets. At the very end of the villa, you can find the main duplex master bedroom suit with a private pool and completely private terrace.
